Festive fundraisers

Over last weekend, we enjoyed taking part in two festive fundraisers!

On Friday evening, we were at the Chorleywood Christmas Festival - an inter-generational event for the whole village! We were delighted to be one of the charities beneffiting from the lantern parade and also had a stall where we enjoyed chatting to people, new friends and old. We raised £155.80 on our stall.

On Saturday evening, we enjoyed a wonderful performance by the Phoenix Choir. We were delighted to once again be the chosen charity for their Christmas concert. It was a wonderful community event, featuring Christmas classics (some with unusual twists), the Central Primary School children, and some joyous audience participation for the rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas!

As a local charity, New Hope is dependent upon the support of the Watford community for funding and volunteers. The money raised through this festive evening will enable us to provide food, shelter, and dignity to people experiencing homelessness. A big thank you to all involved!
