Dreams United: Stadium Sleepout 2025
The stadium sleepout is back again for 2025!
From Friday 28th February to Saturday 1st March, Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust is joining forces with New Hope, One YMCA, DENS, and Herts Young Homeless to raise awareness of the number of people facing homelessness in Watford and the surrounding districts and to raise funds to go towards combating homelessness.
The sleepout, taking place in Watford FC’s iconic Vicarage Road Stadium, is an exciting and rare opportunity for you to experience what the stadium is like when all the matchday-supporting fans have gone home.
You will be swapping the comfort of your bed for a sleeping bag overlooking the pitch from the Rookery Stand. During the evening, this unique event will feature special guests and ambassadors from charities in attendance providing information and awareness on this important cause, as well as a range of different activities. Food and refreshments will be available during the event.
Last year many volunteers took part, braving the wet and cold for one night, to raise over £14,000 for New Hope alone! Many commented what a valuable experience this was, giving them an insight to how unimaginable conditions can be.
It’s currently 2.45am and the temperature is just 3 degrees C, rain is pouring. For us it’s just one night outside: imagine having to face this daily. It’s unimaginable - The Haven Team.
More information on further details of the event will follow soon, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates.
