Can you help people who are homeless this Christmas?
The Christmas countdown has begun!
There are many ways to help support people who are homeless this Christmas.
Here’s how you can help:
Home for Christmas
We will be launching our Christmas appeal, Home for Christmas, on 3rd December. We would be very grateful for any financial donations to help fund the work of our drop-in centre, the Haven. We are also looking for volunteers to help deliver fundraising leaflets for this appeal during the week 2nd to 6th December.
Toiletries, Packets of Biscuits and Chocolates
Branded toiletry sets and good quality boxes of biscuits and chocolates are always welcome for everyone we help whether that's a family in temporary accommodation, someone staying at our winter shelter, or someone in our Emergency Accommodation. Please just make sure that the chocolates don't contain alcohol. Thank you!
Wishlist
We have an Amazon wishlist which contains items needed by our services, including clothes for people who are sleeping rough, bedding for people staying in our accommodation services and microwaves for people moving into their own homes following a period of homelessness. The wishlist is a very simple and easy way of helping. Just buy your gifts and they will be sent directly to us!
Volunteering at Fundraising Events
We are looking for people to help us with fundraising at a Christmassy event in Chorleywood on the evening of 6th December as well as wrapping in Atria on Friday 13th December. Please get in touch if you would like to help with either of these!
Thank you so much for your kind donations and help over the upcoming Christmas period.
