Changes at New Hope
Organisationally, New Hope is definitely in a season of change!
Cultivate, our new horticultural therapy service, was launched in April and is already having a positive impact on people’s mental health.
The summer will see changes to both the outreach service and emergency accommodation as we seek to provide a much smoother and swifter pathway into accommodation for people facing street homelessness. We are also expanding our recovery services so we can help more people who are experiencing substance and alcohol misuse.
The Rough Sleeping Prevention Service is transforming into ‘The Haven’ and, alongside the humanitarian aid, will focus on supporting people who are homeless but not rough sleeping as well as people worried about eviction.
Finally, the Tenancy Sustainment Team has grown and its work now includes support for families.
Please keep looking at our jobs and volunteering pages to see how you might be able to get involved.
