New Keys for a New Year

We have had some absolutely amazing news from SAHA Services this week - 2 residents have signed up for their own accommodation, both on the same day! This marks the second time in what has been an incredibly challenging year that we have had a double move-on from any of our services! When everyone is completely exhausted from the pandemic, something like this is a huge positive for both the residents and the staff alike.

It’s always really stressful when residents move into their own accommodation as it all happens so quickly. The flats are often devoid of furnishings and even white goods so it has been ideal having access to funds raised through the Home of my Own appeal earlier this year meaning that essential items such as beds, curtains, ovens, saucepans and cutlery can be purchased at a moment’s notice to make a house a home. Thank you to everyone who donated (and to those who have bought items from our wishlist!).
