A Tribute To Hugh Lloyd

Sadly, Hugh Lloyd, a much-loved and much-respected trustee, passed away at the end of November. Hugh died peacefully at home with his wife and his two daughters beside him.

Hugh was involved with New Hope for many years. He started as a volunteer cook in the Sanctuary over 20 years ago and became a trustee in 2010. Hugh chaired the Finance Committee, regularly led prayers at Head Office, and continued to help practically with Harvest collections and the annual Christmas wrapping fundraiser at intu.

Hugh was always warm and friendly, greeting everyone with a huge smile.

We rejoice knowing that Hugh is now free from pain and with his loving Father in Heaven, but we mourn with those who loved him and knew him best. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
