Offering:

Telephone Service with volunteers (mostly open during working hours).

One-to-one support with a grief counsellor.

Guides on understanding grief and working through bereavement.

Signposting to local support.
 

Cost: Free to call.

Eligibility Criteria: Individuals with experiences of grief.

CHUMS and suicide bereavement support

Emotional and practical support for adults and children affected by a suicide or suspected suicide death.

Offering:

Downloadable guides and information packs.

Online resources for people bereaved through suicide or other unexplained death, and for those helping them.

Individual support including practical advice and guidance and emotional support.

Drop-in support groups, both adult groups and groups for children.

Liaison with professionals including schools, GPs and other services, and the Coroner up to and including the inquest.
 

Cost: free to users.

Eligibility Criteria: adults, children and parents of children who have been bereaved by suicide.
