Recovery services across Hertfordshire with a team that includes doctors, recovery nurses, recovery workers, social workers, counsellors, complementary therapists, volunteers and peer mentors.

Talking Therapy:
• To understand addiction.
• To make changes for a healthier life.

Prescription of Medical Detoxification and Alternative Medication.

Support and Advice.

Counselling, Rehabilitation & Mentoring.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: individuals who need support with their drug or alcohol use.

Referral Procedure: self-referral by phone, email or drop in from 2pm to 4pm every day except Tuesday and Saturday.

Person-centred intervention support plans for residents in temporary/hostel accommodation

Links to other providers

Connecting residents to work with local services to help maintain their tenancies

Intervention support with: drugs and alcohol, mental health, medical help, financial help, homelessness and criminal justice.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: Hertfordshire residents of temporary/hostel accommodation with addiction support needs.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Offering:

Open Meetings: for individuals and families hoping to solve an individual drinking problem or helping someone else with theirs.

Closed Meetings: limited to alcoholics who know they have a problem and would like to achieve stable sobriety.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: those with current or historic misuse of alcohol.

Referral Procedure: no referral necessary.


Cocaine Anonymous

Online Meetings in which individuals may share their experiences with each other d help each other towards recovery.

VOIP meetings for audio only communication between recovering addicts.

Open, Closed and gender specific face-to-face meetings.

Online information available for users.

Eligibility Criteria: current or historic misuse of cocaine and other mind altering substances.
