In the winter, it’s easy to imagine homelessness as shivering nights in tents or in an underpass or doorway with just a worn-out coat for warmth. For some, like James, however, homelessness may mean staying on a sofa, not knowing when you might be asked to leave or living out of the back seat of a parked car or van.
