Ways to help this winter
Many individuals and groups want to buy specific items to help people who are in need. We have compiled a 'winter needs list' on Amazon so that it is very easy for people to buy an item, such as a sleeping bag for someone who is experiencing rough sleeping, towels and bedding for people in New Hope's short term accommodation, or a microwave for someone moving into their own home.
Items can, of course, be bought elsewhere and either delivered to the Haven on 4 Whippendell Road (between 11am and 3pm) or to the Tim Robson Room at 67 Queens Road, WD17 2QN (between 10am and 2pm).
Once again, we are selling alternative gifts, 'Gifts of Hope'. These are available from our online store or pop into the Tim Robson Room at 67 Queens Road and the Fundraising Team will be happy to help you!
Christmas cards are also now for sale on from our online store or from the Tim Robson Room at 67 Queens Road.
We are looking for volunteers to help us wrap shoppers' presents at Atria on Saturday 18th December to help raise money to prevent homelessness in Watford.
If you are a confident and competent wrapper, please give Hilary (hgarcia@newhope.org.uk) an email saying which shift you would prefer:
