Everyone in!
On Monday evening, Matthew Heasman, New Hope's CEO, tweeted:
It's such good news, we want to shout it from the rooftops!
There is currently no one sleeping rough in Watford!
But that doesn't mean the work has stopped! We are continuing to provide three meals a day for many of those in temporary accommodation and are so grateful to all the groups and individuals who responded so rapidly to our call for help with food on social media earlier this week.
Temporary accommodation is only the first step, our aim is to help people leave homelessness forever to live independently in their own homes. Intensive support is being provided to help people access more more long-term accommodation. We continue to listen, encourage, support and champion people as they recover from homelessness.
Thank you for walking with us as together we see lives transformed.
