Topgolf sleeps out!

A team from Topgolf Watford are taking part in the annual sponsored sleepout at St Albans Abbey on 4 December to raise money for New Hope! The Topgolf team will join hundreds of other fundraisers from all over Hertfordshire to sleep outside in the grounds of St Albans Abbey. Temperatures are predicted to be below five degrees.  

Steve Daniels, Marketing Manager at Topgolf, said: ‘We wanted to do something to help the people who are sleeping rough in Watford, particularly as the weather turns colder and Christmas approaches. Sleeping outside in December is going to be a huge challenge for us but we know that in the morning we can return to our warm and safe homes unlike the people who sleep rough night after night.’  

The money raised by the Topgolf team will support New Hope’s Haven Support Centre which provides hot meals, laundry facilities, clean clothes, showers and – crucially – accommodation advice for those who are rough sleeping and sofa-surfing in Watford. Thank you Topgolf team!
