Two bed accommodation services in Hemel Hempstead and Stevenage for those in crisis. Operates Friday-Monday. Watford and Ware centres also offer support from 6pm-2am.

Offering:

Out-of-Hours crisis support centres (6pm-2am).

2 overnight beds available at both Hemel Hempstead and Stevenage locations.

A safe and welcoming space.

1:1 staff support (practical and emotional).

Advice and information.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: individuals in need of support in a crisis.

Referral Procedure: call the service between 6-7pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday to talk to a member of the team.

Emergency accommodation for young people in urgent housing need. A placement can be from 1 - 5 nights.

Offering:

Emergency accommodation for 18-24 year olds.

Bed spaces available for up to 5 nights.

A place to stay within a private household with trained hosts.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: 18-24 year olds with nowhere to stay.

Referral Procedure: referrals through the Advice & Information gateway service, from the local council or TYS (Targeted Youth Support). External referral form available below.

40 single, ensuite rooms for individuals experiencing homelessness. Max stay: 18 months. Key work support available.

Offering:

40 individual ensuite rooms at main haven site in Stevenage.

Support workers to manage budgeting & addiction.

Group support to provide information on:

  • Health
  • Economic wellbeing
  • Training
  • Personal safety

Cold weather overnight accommodation for rough sleepers.

Outreach support for ex-clients.
 

Cost: £54 per fortnight for those on benefits. Those in full time employment are not encouraged to apply due to high levels of rent.

Eligibility Criteria: individuals must be in need of accommodation and support. Offending history looked at on a case by case basis. Local connection is beneficial but not essential.
