On 25th April, we will be officially launching the new edition of Entertaining Angels, the inspirational story of New Hope, at the Storehouse in Watford.
Written by our late co-founder, Janet Hosier, (with Christian writer Liza Hoeksma) Entertaining Angels tells the story of how New Hope began. It was first published in 2007, just a year before Janet sadly passed away.
The new edition of Entertaining Angels features a new cover and an introduction written by Janet’s son, Craig Borlase. Copies will be available to purchase, before the official launch event, at our 25th Birthday Celebration Service at St Mary’s Church, Watford, on 23rd March.
During the launch event, Sheila Meaning, who founded New Hope with Janet, will be signing copies of the new edition. In addition, staff will be available from 12.30pm to answer any questions about New Hope, homelessness or Entertaining Angels.
If you’d like to meet one of the self-proclaimed ‘ordinary housewives’ who started the work of what is now one of the largest providers of homelessness services in the Home Counties, please put the date in your diary.
