This is a more in depth course than the Introduction to ICT and will guide you through the basics of using a computer and the internet. You’ll cover: computer basics, online basics, audio and video software, digital photography, digital music, social networking and digital media.
How will I learn?
You will need to enrol for your qualification through a Learn Direct centre – this means that you will receive face-to-face support from friendly staff. You can continue to work anywhere you have an internet connection. During your learning you will have regular progress reviews to make sure you’re on track.
You will need to complete tasks and activities and a final test. Your Learn Direct tutor will help you with practice test activities to make sure you are ready to pass your test.
How long will it take?
Learning with Learn Direct is flexible, so how long it takes to gain your qualification depends on your needs and circumstances. These courses will each take between two and four weeks to complete.
