Support Volunteer - Cultivate Service
Hours: Mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays to cover Cultivate sessions between the hours of 9.30am to 4pm
Frequency: At least twice per month
Location: New Hope locations around Central Watford
Cultivate is a trauma-informed, strength-based wellbeing and horticultural service that supports people accessing each of New Hope’s services. Cultivate works therapeutically with people in a variety of ways such as: helping to nurture creativity and encouraging outdoor experiences, greater wellbeing and practical projects.
We are looking for two Cultivate volunteers to support people within the New Hope services. You will spend a few hours each week with Cultivate staff, Ian and Lee, as they support individuals in maintaining and improving their wellbeing.
Volunteers must be aged 18 years or over; be able to commit to a regular schedule of volunteering; be able to follow instructions within a set of guidelines. Volunteers must adhere to confidentiality rules at all times; respect the dignity and privacy of service users and liaise with staff to share relevant information. Online training for the role will be provided.
