Amongst people with experiences of homelessness, poor mental health is common, especially for those who have been rough sleeping. A lack of security and safety can quickly become a downward spiral of worsening mental health which then becomes its own barrier to seeking support.

Cultivate, New Hope’s horticultural therapy and wellbeing service, supports mental health and wellbeing, nurturing independence and rebuilding confidence through bespoke, therapeutic creative activities and practical projects. Cultivate is unique to New Hope and provides essential support for people facing wellbeing and mental health challenges.

Between 14 and 28 May, the first £5,000 of donations made to New Hope’s Restore & Recover campaign will be doubled, providing much needed support to this unique and effective support service.
