Our key concerns for the next government

This week, we’ve met with Dean Russell, Ian Stotesbury and Matt Turmaine who are candidates in tomorrow’s general election.

We talked through our Key Concerns document and our call for the next government to 1) ensure people on low incomes have access to truly affordable housing 2) ensure there is a diverse network of services available, including person-centred, trauma-informed care as a minimum and 3) adopt a cross-government strategy to end homelessness.

We also shared the Homeless Link manifesto and talked about the importance of our intervention services, inclusion health, partnership work, and the need for affordable accommodation.
